From the Placa d`Espanya, you go to the sea and you follow the coastal bike path to the Playa de Palma. Continue near the coast to Capocorp Vell, the kingdom of the Cyclopes (remains of aboriginal dwellings). Typical wind turbines then line your way to the salt pans of Llevant with the pink and white shimmering salt lakes. Before you reach your overnight stay, the almost white sandy beach "Es Trenc", which is considered to be the most beautiful in Mallorca, lures you to take a break or even cool off in the deep blue sea.
The coastal landscape in the picturesque bay near Cala Santanyi and the famous natural bridge "Es Pontas" will inspire you again. It gets quieter on the way inland. The low stone walls that border the fields are omnipresent. The gnarled olive trees have stood in the meadows for centuries and are guarded by many a stately finca.
Nowhere in the world are there as many windmills in a small area as in Mallorca. In the past, they were an important part of agriculture on the island. Their function varied, either to grind grain or to pump water into the fields. On today's stage, you will pass a few particularly beautiful specimens.
Beautiful paths through olive groves lead you to Petra via Sant Joan. A typical "Mallorcan lunchtime snack" is prepared for you in a restaurant in the beautiful village square. You cycle through one of the most enchanting landscapes of the island, the "Pla", to charming Santa Margalida and on to the coast. Along the Playa del Muro, it is not far until you reach your hotel in Alcudia. Enjoy the flair of the medieval city while walking through the narrow streets.
Accompanied by almond trees, you will cycle along the Tramuntana World Heritage Site to the "leather city" of the Inca. From here the transfer bus will take you to the Lluc Monastery (visit possible) and further up to 1200 m above sea level. The descent by bike leads to one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, Fornalutx. There you can enjoy an excellent paella menu in a cosy terrace restaurant. Through orange and lemon plantations we then continue down to Port de Sóller, one of the most attractive fishing villages on the island.
Breathtaking views over the sea open up the last cycling stage again. Passing the picturesque villages of Deia and Valldemossa, we head along the rugged west coast with its fascinating landscape in the direction of Palma. Stroll along wide boulevards, discover narrow streets and marvel at wide squares. The island's capital presents itself as varied as the entire journey.

The stages are easy to moderately difficult: Some climbs are followed by wonderful descents, and the Tramuntana mountains are bridged by bus. You cycle on bike paths, side roads and mostly asphalted service roads, always with as little traffic as possible.
