Itinerary

Take a leisurely stroll through the meticulously preserved old town of Constance, which features the Council House, the Munster, and a labyrinth of charming narrow alleyways in Niederburg. And, of course, don't miss the Mediterranean-style harbour, graced by the iconic statue "Imperia."

As you pedal along, you'll pass through the historic imperial spa town of Radolfzell before continuing towards Bodanrück and then reaching Lake Überlinger See, which shares its name with the town you're about to explore.

On your route to Friedrichshafen, you'll come across the stunning baroque pilgrimage church, Birnau, as well as the charming old city of Meersburg. Upon reaching Nonnenhorn, you'll reach the former Bavarian border. Your overnight accommodations will be in the category you've reserved.

Today's leg of your journey takes you to Lindau and Bregenz, renowned for its annual festivals held on the world's largest outdoor stage, situated right on the lake. Following your time in Bregenz, you'll traverse the Rhine Delta, a significant nature reserve.

You'll make your way to Romanshorn, Switzerland's largest harbour, and then continue your ride alongside the lake as you head back to Constance. During this leg of the journey, you also have the opportunity to visit the captivating island of Mainau.

You'll pedal along the picturesque Swiss fishing villages that adorn the southern bank of Lake Untersee, making your way to Stein on the Rhine, and from there, continuing on to Schaffhausen.

You'll embark on an excursion to the Rhine waterfalls before making your way to the other side of the Rhine and returning to Stein on the Rhine. Following this, you'll ride alongside the Höri River to Gaienhofen. Here, you'll board a boat to reach the island of Reichenau and eventually make your way back to Constance.

Departure from Konstanz or spend extra nights in the city or surrounding region.
